Academic history Junhao began research in the field of ecology by studying differences in the ecological factors between primary and secondary forests using ants as bio-indicators under the guidance of A/P Li Daiqin and Dr Darren Yeo in 2007. He went on to investigate “the effects of small island isolation on ants and spiders” during his Honours year under the supervision of A/P Li Daiqin in 2007/2008. Junhao is currently working on the phylogeny and behaviour of ants in the genus Pheidologeton.   Research interests Research interests are in Myrmecology and Entomology, especially in behavioural and evolutionary aspects.
