Academic history Seok Ping began research in the area of animal behaviour by working on “Zoo visitor effects on white tigers” under the guidance of Dr. Peter Todd and Dr. Darren Yeo in 2006. In 2007/2008, she studied the efficacy of signaling and communication in spitting spiders (Araneae: Scytodidae) under the guidance of Dr. Li Daiqin. She is currently working on sociality in spiders of the genus Anelosimus in Asia.   Research interests Animal behaviour and ecology.
